World football governing body FIFA have ruled in favour of Gambia star Ebrima Sohna over a breach of contract case involving he and Kuwaiti club Al Arabi.

FIFA ordered Al Arabi of Kuwait to pay the player his contract sum within 30-days.

Al Arabi have option of appeal which may not still favour them with the fact on ground.

The player’s representative Olubusola Akinyemi told he and his client are happy with the decision having been through a difficult situation.

“We are happy at the end that justice has prevailed,” a relieved Akinyemi offered.

“It has been a difficult period for my client. He has been in Gambia since October, despite the fact that he has a valid contract with Al Arabi.

“I want to thank the lawyer, Jonas Vallina, who fought for the player right from the beginning of his ordeal.

“No player deserves to be badly treated this way and I will continue to fight for all players who find themselves in such situations.”
