Abubacarr M Tambedou alias Ba Tambedou is the man appointed to serve as the Attorney General and Minister of Justice of the Republic of the Gambia. He was sworn in earlier today, replacing Mama Fatima Singhateh as the head of the country’s justice system.

Tambadou is a brother to the president of the Gambia Bar Association and has worked at the office of UN Prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia before his today’s appointment as minister of Justice.
